Paediatric Neurologists/Paediatricians with special training in neurology and development, Registers, Paediatricians who are placed in our centre on rotation basis, trainee post-graduate paediatricians and assistants. 
 
Children who attend here
Children who are diagnosed in the Walk-in-clinic as suffering from neuromuscular disorders like Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD), or with Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), CP, Headache, Neurometabolic or Degenerative disorders, ICSOL, Down’s syndrome etc are seen here. 
 
Activities done here
Children are examined after taking history. Any progress or deterioration of their condition is thoroughly looked for and any additional health problems are managed. Children with diagnosed ‘developmental delay/CP’ are sent to the ‘developmental therapy clinic’ after having their medical check-up and treatment advice. Children with chronic disorders/metabolic/genetic –like DMD, SMA, and Down’s syndrome will be referred to ‘counseling clinic’ for counseling and future plans. Children requiring necessary investigations will be advised from this clinic. CNAC will have the most modern investigation facilities like Video-EEG and also NCV facilities and our University has an excellent MRI service that will help our children. Paediatricians of this clinic help to co-ordinate with other specialists of Paediatrics and make referrals to them. Location of this centre in the premises of BSMMU makes it easier to maintain an effective liaise with all other specialized departments like Orthopaedic, Paediatric Surgery, ENT and Ophthalmology departments of the university.
